Scouting #19 UofA (12-12-1): The University of Arizona returns to the valley this weekend looking to end ASU’s impressive 20 game winning streak against them. Their goal will be to avoid another series sweep to the Sun Devils. Time between the pipes is shared by David Herman and Steven Sisler, who have goals against averages of 3.32 and 2.18 respectively. Arizona’s offense is led by Brady Lefferts who has scored 21 goals in 25 games this season. U of A is coached by Sean Hogan, who recently earned victory 100 on his career. Scouting ASU (23-4-2): The Sun Devils come home to face their rivals to the south after a three game road trip. They went 1-2-0 beating Central Oklahoma but falling short against the Oklahoma Sooners.. ASU will look to make it 22 consecutive wins over the Wildcats on Friday and Saturday. The scoring continues to be led by sophomore captain Colin Hekle with 19 goals. Junior Dan Styrna leads the team in points with 34. Senior goaltender Mark Schacker has been lights out between the pipes, allowing just two and a half goals per game with a .92 save percentage. ASU is coached by 2nd year Head Coach, Greg Powers who holds a career record of 50-13-5 in his young career.
